Australian Communications Authority (ACA) Telecommunications Requirements
Established in July 1997, the Australian telecommunications industry became subject to a new regulatory framework. The ACA was established under the Australian Communications Authority Act, and exercises powers under the Telecommunications Act 1997, the Radiocommunications Act 1992 and other related legislation.
